Al-Risala Forum International (AFI) is a non-profit organization formed in the United States of America to promote greater understanding of Islam - the religion of peace. AFI seeks to promote the cause of Islam by using every resource and method that represents a balanced understanding of Islam. AFI particularly seeks to promote the message of Al-Risala - the Islamic magazine published each month in English, Urdu and Hindi by The Islamic Centre, New Delhi, India. Al-Risala has been published since 1976 under the supervision of the well known Muslim scholar and thinker Maulana Wahiduddin Khan.

The main objective of Al-Risala journal, as well as the movement it inaugrated, is to introduce Islam in a positive light as well as to provide intellectual direction to the Muslim communities in India and worldwide, in accordance with the principles of Islam and the teachings of the Qur'an.

The importance of these tasks necessitates that we disseminate the message of Al-Risala and Maulana Wahiduddin Khan's other writings on a global scale using every possible mode of expression, hence our expansion into the realm of cyber-space. Readers, thinkers, admirers as well as critics are encouraged to participate in the Al-Risala Mission via snail mail, E-mail (comments@alrisala.org), or telephone/fax.
